Allie (Principal Instructor)
Allie is a fully trained chef having achieved the City & Guilds 706-1 and 706-2 qualifications with Credit. Since qualifying Allie has gained a wealth of experience during her career in contract catering and has also set up and run a number of successful catering & event businesses ranging from a cafe to major events for 20,000 people and including a private dining company where she even listed Lords & Ladies as her clients in London.
After qualifying as an NVQ assessor and Food Hygiene instructor, Allie set up a training cafe for disadvantaged youngsters and people with special needs in Brighton's Kemptown, Following that success, Allie decided to further build on the training side of her work; so after gaining a CertEd qualification in education Allie worked as a teacher covering life skills, cooking and entrepreneurship before teaching Key Stage 3 Food Technology.
Following some time out to become a mum, Allie launched Mess2Chefs as the perfect way to bring her experiences as a Chef,Teacher and Mum together to help children and adults develop useful skills and a positive attitude to all aspects of food.
The creative genius behind our recipes, Signor and Signora Capocuoco have a wealth of cooking experience as they have worked all over the world. Signori Capocuoco both enjoy experimenting with a wide variety of foods and they regularly pop-up helping to explain about foods, cooking methods and cultures
